Hi, I'm Francesca.
Elysburg, PA · now Coal Township, PA
I was born and raised in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, and recently moved to Coal Township, Pennsylvania, with my husband and our two cats.
Baking is my passion, and it started at home. Growing up, my grandma baked for our whole family, and she recently gave me all of her recipes. I think my spark for baking, and for sharing love and care with others through it, really comes from her and the way I was raised.
I've also always loved being creative, and those two things together brought me here. I'm looking forward to sharing more recipes through this blog, and I hope they inspire you to bake and help you learn along the way.

About me & the blog
Who is Francesca from By Francesca Official?
I'm Francesca, a home baker born and raised in Elysburg, Pennsylvania. I now live in Coal Township, Pennsylvania, with my husband and our two cats, and I share my recipes here and as @byfrancescaofficial.
How did you get into baking?
It started with my grandma. Growing up, she baked for our whole family, and she recently gave me all of her recipes. My love of baking, and of sharing love and care with others through it, comes from her.
What kind of recipes are on By Francesca Official?
Right now, easy homemade cookies, all built on one simple 3:2:1 cookie ratio. Cakes, breads and savory recipes are coming soon, with new recipes every week.
What makes your cookie recipes different?
They all start from the same base: three parts flour, two parts butter, one part sugar, one egg and a splash of vanilla. Swap the sugar to change the texture, then fold in whatever you love, like the toffee and almonds in my brown butter chocolate chip cookies.
Where can I watch your baking videos?
On TikTok, Instagram and Facebook as @byfrancescaofficial. Recipes with a video, like my pumpkin s'mores cookies, have it right on the recipe page.
Where is By Francesca Official based?
In Coal Township, Pennsylvania. I grew up in nearby Elysburg, so this is a central Pennsylvania home kitchen through and through.
